Some excerpts from the album “Rimples” by Hans Ouwejan. For the whole album, goto Spotify, Itunes, Deezer etc.
After the Catgun experience and the album Emoceans, it was time for a third album: Rimples.
Starting in the late 80’s Hans and his co-worker Felix wrote two musical compositions for the sample archive of Justin Frankel’s Nullsoft/Winamp, in exchange for a link to their website. These songs were added in the Justins Winamp archive . Hans & Felix began receiving many compliments from fans around the world who had downloaded Winamp, starting to get their own musical audience. And remember, this was before Cable , ISDN and DSL connections! Most of our fans, in that period, used 33K6 modems and a telephone line, so you can imagine how long it would take to download all our music since they were all about 3 or 4 MB a piece!
